My first Real Grade Gundam came in the mail today and I went straight to work on the model which is the RX-78 GP01-Fb Full Burnern or Full Vernian from the anime series Gundam 0083.
I’m already impressed by the inner frame and workings of the armor plates. With the leg, there’s one big piece that you cut from a runner which makes up the inner workings of the leg and then you continue to add a few more inner frame pieces and armor plates which equals an excellent range of motion for the leg, more so than any HGUC models that I’ve constructed in the past.
Some of the parts are pretty tiny, but not to the point where you’re spending several minutes attempting to grasp pieces and connect it to another.
So far I’ve finished construction of the core fighter, which is the first piece of the kit to be constructed, and I’ve completed the right leg; all of which you can see below. For this kit, it’s going to be a straight build with no painting since I’ve got another model kit I’m painting which is taking some time to finish; the PMX-003 The-O.
I may put some top coat on it, but it looks great so far with all the details on the plates and not to mention the stickers the kit comes with.
